Hello, parents and students!!!
I am very excited about working with you this year! Please review the important information listed below and remember to check this site every week for updates and important information (it won't normally be packed with this much information - I promise).
Suggested Supply List for Mrs. Pitner's Class / 2009 - 2010
2-Expo Markers ( The students do a lot of work on individual white boards in the classroom)
1- Whiteboard Eraser
1- 3 Ring Binder~ 1 ½ inch
Plastic dividers with tabs (1 pack)
4- Loose leaf packs of paper (wide ruled)
#2 pencils (NO mechanical please)
2- Spiral Notebooks
1- Highlighter
1-Glue or Glue Sticks
1- Scissors
2- Markers, Crayons, and Colored Pencils
1- Pack black or blue pens (choose two)
2- 2 pocket with brads folder
1- Box of tissues
1- Baby Wipes or Clorox Wipes
Donations
If you feel you can donate another item to our class, I will have an "Apple Tree" list at Open House. I usually have parents ask throughout the year if they can contribute any donations. I can always use print cartridges to print off important papers and worksheets. If you are interested, please let me know and I will tell you which kind is needed. Thank you in advance for your help with supplies!
Money
If you need to send in money this year (lunch or ASP payment, field trip money, etc), please send it in an envelope labeled with the following:
1. Child's Name
2. Child's Student I.D. Number (they should know this)
3. What The Money Is For
4. My Name and Grade Level
Snacks
Depending on our schedule, we will probably have a daily snack. Please send in a healthy snack (water is also okay - please no juices, etc) for your child each day. If you would like to donate a large bag of pretzels, crackers, etc. for children who may forget their snacks from time to time, that would be fabulous!
ASP
If your child will stay in ASP (at any time this year), please remember that this is a pre-pay program. Your child must also be registered in advance. If you did not fill out a registration card at Open House, please let me know and I will be happy to send home a card for you to complete. It is a good idea to have a card on file, just in case.
Lunch
http://www.paulding.k12.ga.us/districtops/nutrition/nutrition.php
Please visit the link above for information from the county nutritional department regarding costs and payment options for school lunches.
Transportation Changes
Please make sure that both your child and I am aware of daily transportation. If it changes frequently, please send me a note each day. If regular transportation has to be changed (for a day or longer period of time), please send me note. I am not allowed to take transportation changes through email. If you have to change your child's transportation during the school day, you will need to fax a letter to the front office staff. Please contact Ellen Maxwell in our front office if you have questions.
Questions
If you have any questions not covered on this website or the information given to you at Open House, please send me an email at BPitner@paulding.k12.ga.us or a note. I will be happy to answer any questions you may have. Thanks!
